    This had to be one of the sweetest moments I've captured on film. They were part of several Mustang herds found in the Virginia Foothills of Nevada. This particular herd let me get about 25 ft. away from them. It was amazing.

  • The Three Sisters

     

    I was surprised at how similar these three young ones were. If you look closely, you'll notice they all have one white hoof.

  • Desert Dance

     

    This was the beginning of a mating season scuffle. "You wanna piece of me???"

  • Mustang Family

     

    Adorable doesn't even BEGIN to describe that little colt. These were three gorgeous horses. The male was a very muscular, dominant looking animal. And the mare had an air of strong, feminine beauty about her.
